Our Sunday

We had a really fun day here in China- Land. First let's start with what made us laugh....

Miriam had her first dance recital today. We arrived at 1:30 PM to attend (what we thought) would be a 2-4 PM show with other little kids. Little did we know the whole thing would not start until 2:30 and Miriam did not dance until about 5 PM! So we had to sit through many MANY interesting acts. Including the above. Which was Miriam's teacher basically doing a salsa-type dance that was very revealing to say the least. Below is Joab's cousin Coby (bless his heart he came up to see the show) reaction to the salsa dance!

Miriam shaking her booty.

Before Dance we went to church. Where Baby Salome was dedicated to the Lord. This is when our Pastor prays for us that we would be the kind of parents that show Salome the love of the Lord all her days! I love the above of Asa praying too.

My girls. Not sure why Mei is angry!

Five weeks. Started to smile this week!

Wow! What a long day! Miriam looks so cute. And baby Salome is so adorable. Our babies are so close in age...some of their expressions are similar. Love her smile!

That is so funny. Maybe it is a tradition for teachers to do some sort of sensual dance at each recital. Every Kindergarten graduation here has had teachers doing some strange stuff. Completely out of place in my mind, but a good laugh for the rest of us. I love the pic of your cousin laughing.
