Bye Bye Phoenix

Well, we had a HUGE garage sale and now are in the last stages of packing. The Sale started at 7 AM, and by 11:30 it was too hot to be outside (103 in the shade).Here is our plan:

Sat. July 14- Fly PHX to Omaha, NE

Friday July 20- Head to Minneapolis (by car)

Monday July 23- Drive to Iowa-stay with Emily's Folks

Thursday July 26th- Em drives Joab to Chicago, Joab flies to Hong Kong

July 27- early September- Em and the kids stay in Iowa (with a few trips planned to see people)

Joab will travel to Hong Kong then Shanghai and end up in Beijing. He is really excited about meeting people and networking! He has been working really hard on the job search, we are very proud of him.

It is hard to close this chapter in our lives; Thunderbird was a great time for our whole family. Thanks for following us and look forward to more posts soon!

Asa, most days would rather explore and try to get himself into trouble than swim! I thought we could enjoy a moment together on the hammock-it was a no go there. He was going to climb the tree if we would let him.

Our dear roomate Krissy with Mei in the pool. Krissy has been working with Mei on swimming lessons. She is getting much better. I must take this time to thank Geo and Krissy McNabb for their amazing generosity. Krissy helps me daily with the kids, and we have a blast together. I will miss her so much.
