Easter Fun

Well we enjoyed a great Easter. Kids had fun at our Easter Party and with their baskets. Here is Mei opening up a small Chinese decoration thing for her fish tank!

Any holiday here is not complete with out Joab's cousin Coby coming up from Hangzhou! We are always so thankful when he comes and even more this time when he brought his friend Laurinda. She is from Mexico and taught me how to make both Flan and corn tortillas! And yes that is a children's' gun book we got Coby for Easter. Inside there is about every type of gun made under the sun with the Chinese name by it. Pretty amazing it is a kid's book!

Had some friends over for an egg hunt. I had this idea for a "do it yourself" Easter basket craft. After I made one with Mei for a trial run - we decided they looked pretty great as hats too. So an Easter bonnet and basket in one! Here is Mei with friend Emma.
